This is a part-time position, this position does not include benefits with an exception to sick leave.

Veterans Inc., the largest provider of services to veterans and their families throughout New England, is looking for a professional, skilled, and hardworking individual to fill the Residential Advisor position and become a valued member of the Veterans Inc. team!


This individual would be responsible for, but not limited to, assisting the Site Coordinator by providing the residential population and candidates for admission with oversight of day-to-day activities.  Ensuring that residents comply with all rules and regulations in accordance with policy and procedure standards.  Overseeing and assisting with the overall upkeep and maintenance of each facility.  Responsible for the upkeep, cleanliness, and maintenance of all company vehicles.


This individual would be based out of 233 Arch Street, New Britain, CT 06051. This is a part-time position, maximum of 20 hours per week at the hourly rate of $13.00/ hour. This position does not include benefits with an exception to sick leave. 


Must be able to pass a CORI and background investigation.  Must be able to start within two weeks of receiving a job offer.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  1.  Minimum of high school diploma, GED or equivalent, Associates degree preferred.
  2. Must possess a valid driver's license.
  3. Must be able to successfully pass a CORI/Background records check.
  4. Must be at least beginner experience with Microsoft Office.
  5. Attention to detail, great communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to multi-task.
